Self Catering Accommodation located in the heart of Mid Wales. The beautiful market town of Builth Wells is home of the Royal Welsh Showground and is the perfect centre for any visit to the area boasting the wonderous river Wye meandering through it. The best place to stay in Builth is the 200 year old Dan-y-Castell, situated underneath the Castle Motte and a minute's level walk form the town centre and close to the Royal Welsh Showground and River Wye. A warm and comfortable stay is guaranteed. Dan-y-Castell holiday cottage is a totally refurbished 3 bedroom chapel, built at least partially from the remains of the old castle and combines stained glass windows, oak floors, stone arches and open fires with modern comfort. The cottage is new to market for 2011 but we have run at 82% occupancy in our first year, with many of our guests rebooking before they leave, because of the high quality, location and value of this beautiful cottage.
